Dorji N

Dorji N ( Sr. Teacher II) is presently employed as  a teacher in Zhemgang Lower Secondary School. He obtained his PTC (Primary Teaching Certificate) in the year 2000 from Paro College of Education (PCE), and later acquired a Bachelor of Education Degree from the same institution in 2013. His pursuit of higher education led him to complete a self-funded M.Ed. (Elective – Research & Educational Curriculum) program at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India, in 2020.

Accumulating over 23 years of teaching experience, Dorji N has contributed his expertise to multiple educational institutions throughout Bhutan. His dedication to teaching in challenging rural settings was recognized in 2012 when he was honored with “The National Order of Merit” award by His Majesty The Fifth Druk Gyalpo. This prestigious accolade, represented by Medal no. 142, acknowledged his exceptional commitment to education under adverse conditions.

Dorji N also distinguishes himself as a dedicated researcher with an impressive portfolio of scholarly accomplishments. His research contributions encompass approximately 34 published papers in esteemed platforms such as Indian UGC CARE journals, Google Scholar, DRJI, CITE FACTORS, ISI, ZENODO, INDEX COPERNICUS, SCOPUS Index, and Springer. Additionally, he has presented numerous papers at both international and Indian National Seminars during his pursuit of a Master’s Degree in India. His research primarily revolves around enhancing educational development and advancing the teaching-learning process in Bhutan.
